If I have a true passion for the kitchen, I owe it all to 

my grandma Dora.

It all began when my brother, sister, and I used to go to Nonna Dora’s house for the weekend as kids. Those were the best times of my childhood. 

Her house was always the gathering place for the entire family. It was a place full of warmth, love, and, of course, delicious food.

Nonna Dora would spend the whole weekend cooking, preparing the most incredible meals, and I was always captivated by the time and care she put into every dish. 

But it wasn’t just the food that fascinated me—it was the way she made sure to entertain and involve all of us in her kitchen.

To keep me busy and involved, she would call me over and say, "Come here, and help me with this." She’d hand me a piece of dough and say, "Let’s make pasta for the family." I felt so proud to be part of that process, rolling out the dough and shaping it into something we would all enjoy together. That time spent with her in the kitchen is something I’ll always treasure.

That’s where it all started.
